Rebecca Pichardo
Rebecca Pichardo was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, where her passion for helping others took root early in life. She pursued that calling by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Springfield College. After graduation, she relocated to
Virginia and began her career working with adolescents with developmental and behavioral disabilities. Her ability to connect authentically and empathetically with clients—shaped in part by her own lived experience—quickly became one of her defining strengths.
In 2010, Rebecca made the life-changing decision to begin her recovery journey. What began as a reluctant turning inward became a transformational commitment to healing, personal
growth, and long-term sobriety. Now over 15 years into recovery, she continues to integrate the values and tools she’s gained into both her personal life and professional leadership.
Rebecca transitioned from direct service into leadership roles, returning to New England in 2016 to serve as Assistant Program Director at a long-term psychiatric facility in Massachusetts.
She went on to become Director of Operations at the largest homeless shelter in New Hampshire, where she was instrumental in transforming the program into a low-barrier,
trauma-informed facility grounded in the Housing First model.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and a shift in family priorities, Rebecca joined Mass General Brigham as a Project Manager. There, she helped launch a Bridge Clinic in the
Merrimack Valley—a transitional care model supporting individuals with substance use disorders. Her strategic mindset, initiative, and deep understanding of systems of care have made her a trusted leader within both the Primary Care and Specialty departments.
Rebecca is deeply passionate about systems-level change, equity in healthcare access, and building compassionate models of care for underserved communities. Her leadership is informed by professional experience, clinical insight, and a deep belief in human resilience.
Outside of work, Rebecca lives fully in the present moment—whether she’s out riding her motorcycle, sharing laughs with friends and family, or curled up with a good book and a Topo
Chico in hand.
